The Child-Turcotte-Pugh score is C10, serum bilirubin is 3.6 mg/dL, serum creatinine is 74 µmol/L, serum sodium is 124 mEq/L and the ascitic fluid protein concentration is 11 g/L. The patient’s medication includes a non-selective beta blocker (NSBB; propranolol 80 mg daily).
